Goong chapter 163
Goong chapter 163 (궁 제163회) appeared in the September 15, 2010 issue of Wink Magazine. If you don’t want to know, don’t read.
SPOILER ALERT
Where we left off: Chae-kyung’s still eating in the cafeteria area of the hospital and Shin’s wearing a hoodie (hood’s up) and asked her if she knew of a good house in her neighborhood he can live in. Okay, now for chapter 163. She’s surprised and he’s like there should be a bunch in her area. She’s like you’re different from me: I’m a normal person with a registration card but you’re just a prince with no such thing and you? live in my area? (she starts busting out laughing) Then she has a sudden thought of what would happen if he really did live in her area. She starts imaging all the bad stuff in her head that he may say or do since he’s the prince. Then she starts looking sick to her stomach. She’s like, “but no, really, why do you want to come out [of the palace] and live? is it because you want to live closer to me?” He’s about to tell her the real reason (about him losing his position as the crown prince, basically) when she all of a sudden starts waving and shouting to her mother that she’s over here. When her mom walks over she was about to say Shin was there but noticed he had vanished (he’s hiding under the table next to her knees). Meanwhile she’s asking her mom how her aunt is doing. Shin motions for her to keep quiet about him being under the table. Mom updates her on the aunt then asks her if she wants to go on a date — at the hospital there’s some son of some hospital head who goes to her school and is a 3rd year (I think that’s a senior in Korean terms since middle and high school are 3 years each?) Chae-kyung’s like “…mom…” Her mom keeps going on saying she saw the pic of the boy and he looks quite all right and maybe just once they can try a date balhbalhbalh. Chae-kyung’s like, “..mom….” Her mom’s like, “You can get yourself a good boyfriend, now, right~~~?” Shin’s getting aggravated and is about to come out of hiding to leave when Chae-kyung pushes his head down (under the table) to make him get back down. Chae-kyung tells her mom she’s tired and how about going back to her hospital room. So she and her mom leave. Shin’s all annoyed at the thought of Chae-kyung dating. Comic moment with the guards in shades.
Scene switch. Yul is surprised and asking the king what is he saying, that he[king] is making him[Yul] the next in line for the throne? The king tells Yul he[king] has lost. balhbalbhalbh nothing really interesting except that the king tells Yul he may be putting Yul at the top now (for the throne) but he’s not going to exactly roll over and play dead (the king’s going to fight on and not abdicate).
Scene switch. Yul’s leaving the quarters and is walking in the courtyard. He is thinking. He sees Shin. Panels are alternating between current scene and a flashback back to when Yul had to leave the palace and asked Shin to look after a sapling. He had thought Shin was lying when he said he’d take care of it. Current time has them standing in front of a rather tall and well-off tree. (Shin had kept his word.) Yul says, “I am sorry… I’m …truly .. sorry..” End of chapter.
Wow thanks so much for your work.
I guess that Yul is full of regret now. Shin is so kind, and it’ s Yul who always believe that Shin robbed everything from him!
Thanks you soooooo much for the summary!!!!!!!!
